CM 323 #1 “Content & Consumption”

I would have to say that I mostly consume news on the web due in part that I do not have cable this semester at my apartment.  Personally, I am used to waking up in the morning and switching on the TV news channel to hear all the news that is ongoing or current, whether it’s social, political or sports.  Since I do not have that luxury, I really rely on news websites on my phone and computer to keep me updated with what is going on in the world.
The sites are successful because they don’t usually beat around the bush and do a very good job at laying all the facts down in a clear and concise way, so myself and others can get a clear understanding of the specific story with just being able to skim or read the short article.  These sites use terminology and words that can be understood across all spectrums of people as well making it easier to get the information out.
